The Berum Kiessee is a gravel pit lake created by gravel mining in the Hage municipality in the Aurich district of East Frisia, Lower Saxony. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Hage-Berum spa center.
The Kiessee is monitored as a bathing area, but there are no sanitary facilities
and no lifeguards. Swimming, as everywhere, is at your own risk.
There is an outdoor pool next to the lake.
The lake is used as a fishing spot by the Hage Fishing Club.

Beautiful sandy beach, clear water of the pebble Berum, in summer you can swim well at your own risk, as there is no bathing supervision and lake is very deep.
