There is no official entrance fee, but donations are welcome in the large collection box located a few meters behind the entrance.
A few carriages have been beautifully restored. Others desperately need it!
The roof between platforms 1 and 2 is not original. This station served as a backdrop for the film "Buddenbrooks" and was meant to represent Lübeck station.

The Schönberger Strand Museum Railway is unique in Germany, offering not only historic steam and diesel trains and vintage railcars on a charming narrow-gauge line, but also a fleet of historic trams. Some of the vehicles are over 100 years old, and hardly any are less than half a century old.
