Surrounded by trees, barely visible, this building ruin is located on the undeveloped railway line from the war years around the Berlin area. Another piece of ruins stands on the road between Dabendorf and Glienick.

At the time of the Second World War, four large marshalling yards were planned in the imperial capital Berlin - one of them in Großbeeren. Via this connection from Zossen to Großbeeren, the freight traffic of the Dresdner Bahn was to be led directly to the marshalling yard Großbeeren. The opening was scheduled for October 1, 1940. But that did not happen. The work was stopped long before the first tracks were laid.
