The ruins of the Ernestine Loop, also known as Neuwerk, offer a very special spectacle. Here, visitors can see a unique polishing machine that was made in 1910 in Leopold Schifauer's machine shop in Klatau. In 2013, the metal colossus was cleared of debris, cleaned and on this occasion the entrance to the basement was also discovered, where the gears and cogs that turned the moving parts of the machine were located. ..."

Here, in a glass loop (Arnold loop) used in the past, is a water-driven glass grinding and polishing machine that has increased the productivity of glass grinding production by turning from one polishing pad to the other.
The building was blown up by the Czechs because of its location on the border during the Cold War. Now a building superstructure was built, which hints at the former size. The polishing device was supplied by BHS in Weiherhammer (Germany). There are also remnants of tools and broken glass.
