One of many small steam bunkers, remnants of World War II, which are scattered all over the Giant Mountains. Of course, "scattered" is the wrong term, because their arrangement and positioning is tactical in nature, and neighboring bunkers can protect each other. On the way we went, there were many such bunkers.
They were built as protection against the German Reich, but were never used, because the line of attachment that they were to form was meaningless by the Munich Agreement of September 29, 1938.
