Our nine-day trekking tour in Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyzstan) "On Merzbacher's Trail into the Sky Mountains" is a real highlight for every trekking fan. Unfortunately, the first leg to camp At Chailoo had to be shortened after a huge landslide. However, this brought us from the camp Karkara an additional helicopter flight in the best weather. The few hours to the first camp Iva are a breeze in the vast and not yet glaciated valley and provide ample opportunity to tune in the coming days. The scenery of the 4,000m gradually rising peaks is huge. We meet up to the camp where we are alone with our hosts, not a soul. The local tour operator Ak-Sai-Travel is very experienced and has planned our tour very meticulously. Everything works like clockwork - only for the weather capers in the course of the coming days, of course, you can only blame the powers at the top. Our two guides Emil Kamalov and Andre speak good German and are washed with all trekking waters. We are in good hands with them - even in critical situations.
