The market church of St. Dionys, also called Old Town Church, is the parish church of the Protestant parish church Eschwege-old town in Eschwege in the Hessian Werra-Meißner-Kreis. She is the hl. Dionysius, the first bishop of Paris, who was martyred in the 3rd century. The Market Church is the oldest church building in the city and was built in the 15th century on the site of several predecessors in the Gothic style (Wikipedia).

The market church is the oldest church building in the city and was built in the 15th century on the site of several previous buildings in the Gothic style. It was originally under the patronage of Dionysius of Paris, the first bishop of Paris to be martyred in the 3rd century. A very beautiful church 😊
