    The Fratelli Calvi refuge is located in the Brembana valley at 2,020 meters above sea level near Lake Rotondo. From here you can admire different peaks: the Pizzo del Diavolo, the Diavolino, the Pizzo Poris, the Madonnino and the Cabianca.
    The refuge offers a bar and restaurant service with typical local products. You can reach Calvi along a route that starts from Carona and takes from 2 to 3 hours depending on your level of training.

      Beautiful refuge at an altitude of about 2000m, after the Fregabolgia lake. At the center of the Calvi basin, it is surrounded by beautiful peaks (Madonnino, Cabianca, Grabiasca, Diavoli di Tenda, Aga, Reseda, ...)

          The refuge, built and inaugurated in 1935 by the CAI Section of Bergamo, was named in memory of the four Calvi brothers originally from Piazza Brembana, mountaineers and Alpine troops.

          The Calvi brothers Attilio, Santino, Giannino and Natale were officers of the Alpini who operated during the First World War.

          Three of them died in the war within months of each other. The only uninjured brother, Giannino, was struck down by the Spanish flu that was then raging in Europe

                  The refuge is easy to reach even in bad weather, well-organized, and offers truly excellent food! Compliments for the venison taragna and the pumpkin, cheese, and mushroom roll.

                  The view of Lake Fregabolgia and Lake Rotondo and the most beautiful peaks like the Diavoli and Madonnino is spectacular.
