The largest contiguous park in Burgstädt is the Wettinhain, which has a long history.

It is also home to the city of Burgstädt's landmark, the Taurastein Tower, which, with a total height of 39 meters, towers over the beautiful park landscape with flowering beds and borders, fountains and ponds.

Plant lovers can enjoy the many different tree species, of which there are 11 coniferous species alone, including six European and five American species.

The Wettinhain is also a place of culture. Choral concerts, children's parties, open-air cinema and other events take place on the open-air stage in the middle of the park.

The adventure playground, which was redesigned in June 2017 for the children's festival, is very popular with children. The mini golf course offers another opportunity for leisure activities.
