The Hare and Hedgehog Fountain is a bronze and stone sculpture by the artist Fritz Fleer. It symbolizes the race between the hare and the hedgehog, which, according to legend, took place on the Buxtehude Heath. The hare runs as fast as he can, but the hedgehog is already there.
