Located very close to the Tobel Gorge, but the two gorges cannot be compared at all. The Bodenbach Gorge has great hiking trails and runs almost continuously on forest floor. While the rock formations in the Tobel Gorge are more impressive.

The Bodenbach Gorge is a true natural paradise and one of the wildest and most pristine gorges in the Swabian-Franconian Forest. 🌲🌿 Here, you can descend via steps, narrow paths with railings, and small bridges, admiring the impressive grandeur of the rocky gorge. The steep valley walls with jutting rocks and ledges, from which boulders repeatedly break off and plunge into the gorge, give the gorge a particularly adventurous atmosphere.
The coniferous forest with its abundance of mosses and ferns is reminiscent of the original forest landscape before human use and transformation.
