The public observatory, built in 1969 by Zweckverband Schloss Dhaun, offers interested visitors excellent astronomical observation possibilities away from the light-polluted cities. It is operated by the members of the Department of Astronomy of the Schlossakademie Dhaun. The public observatory is open to anyone on request.
The observatory offers regular observatory evenings, regular lecture evenings, special events for groups upon arrangement and special events for pupils and children groups (from 5 years).

Hunsbuckel has already said everything. However, the building doesn't look particularly inviting at the moment and I'm not sure whether there are currently guided tours

It is really questionable whether the public observatory is still in use.
Lots of names on the doorbell and a bit in need of renovation.
