The viewing platform is part of the Hilsbacher Eichelberg adventure trail. You have fantastic views of the Kraichgau and the vineyards. In the east, the Steinsberg near Sinsheim just peers around the treetops. Further to the southeast you can see the clouds of smoke from the Heilbronn power plant. In the south you can see the Cleebronn telecommunications tower as the highest peak of the current mountain and with a view to the west you can see the Palatinate Forest on the horizon.
