Whether as a pilgrim or just a hiker, this is a very beautiful forest edge. The "Kleiner Mönchsbusch" separates this pasture area from Reckershausen. Reiffenhausen is in sight to the southeast.

Today, March 14th, 2020, I started my short circular route from Reckershausen - in front of Ellershagen, looking for spring 😉😀. Here in Märzenbechertal I found what I was looking for today 🌺🌞🌸.
I really like it here. The fresh air, sun, wind, rest, long and short hiking trails with distant views and the spring bloomers, something of everything has a very relaxing effect. Among other things, you can also come along sections of the pilgrimage route.

Between the Kleiner Mönchsbusch and the Steinskopf there is a valley that has its charm in every season. If you cross the valley you come on the Loccum-Volkeroda pilgrimage route and the view is terrific for my taste.
But today I was interested in the stone head.
My way led through beech forest on the opposite side of the valley. The highest point on the Steinkopf is not necessarily spectacular. Since it was part of my circular route, I thought: "Maybe there is a summit cross or something nice to discover." Unfortunately, neither of them 🤷‍♀️. Overall, however, a nice circular route.
