The Col Amic culminates at an altitude of 828 meters, below the Grand Balon.

This pass has an average gradient of 4.8% over 9.6 kilometers. The slope is therefore rather gentle, but the climb is long. Ideal for climbing at your own pace, gently!

The south ascent to Col Amic cannot compete with the north ascent of Soultz in terms of the beauty of the route, but it is still highly recommended. The route is quite spacious, the incline is rather moderate, but it is a bit unrhythmic to drive. Forest passages alternate with more promising meadow slopes.

Surface quality very good, therefore also suitable for the downhill.
