The best view of the waterfall is from the observation deck, which is about a five-minute walk from the Clearwater Valley Road car park. Like the Helmcken Falls, the rock is also of volcanic origin at the Spahat Falls.
However, the water here does not fall over a broad threshold, but has cut the water of the Spahat Bach classic in the rock and formed a waterfall with two levels. The total drop height measures 75 meters, with the larger 60 meters high and gives a spectacular impression.
