This is a renovated section of the city wall.
The wall around the historic city center was completed in 1330.
At that time the bulwark was 1700 m long and had 4 gates and 10 towers.
The wall is made of soy pebbles and gypsum mortar.
Large parts of the city fortifications are still preserved today.
