Ulrichshusen Castle is actually a manor house. It is beautifully situated on the Ulrichshusen Lake. The castle is used as an upscale hotel.
But there is not just the castle with the small castle garden directly adjacent. Rather, it is an entire ensemble on the Ulrichshusen estate. Here you will find a good café and restaurant, among other things. The other outbuildings are used for various public events such as the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.

The Hotel Schloss Ulrichshusen, beautifully situated on its own lake, with its large ballroom is ideal for weddings, conferences, seminars and events of all kinds. This is also where the heart of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival beats with many concerts and well-known artists in summer and in advent.

The Ulrichshusen palace ensemble is one of the most valuable architectural monuments in the state of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. It was built around 1560 and is an important Renaissance castle that combines the defensive features of a medieval castle with the representative appearance of a palace. Apart from brief interruptions, the village and castle were the seat of the von Maltzahn family for centuries.

The view from the 33 spacious guest rooms over Lake Ulrichshusen, the English park and the Mecklenburg region cannot be more beautiful. Each of the double rooms is stylishly and individually furnished. In the nearby Gutspark Ulrichshusen, 10 apartments were created in the historic manor buildings - just as individual and attentive in design and service as in the castle ensemble itself.

Ulrichshusen has meanwhile become the main venue of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. Concerts with well-known artists from Germany and abroad take place in the old field stone barn and in the hall of the castle.
