Currently only open Friday to Sunday. Sometimes closed company. Better call ahead.
Hikers and cyclists are particularly welcome - also as overnight guests.
The view is wonderful and the surroundings of the old castle from the 14th century are also very beautiful.
A steep path leads down to the street (there with underpass and sidewalk).

Neuburg Castle is an impressive historic building perched on a cliff that slopes steeply down to the Neckar River. Originally built in the 14th century, it has a rich history. The castle has been rebuilt several times over the centuries and served as a residence for various noble families. In the 19th century, it was restored in the Romantic style and acquired its present appearance.
Today, Neuburg Castle houses a hotel and restaurant that delights visitors with its unique atmosphere and the charm of bygone times.
