Here the Elbuferstraße runs over the Kniepenberg (with an approx. 13% gradient or ascent, depending on which direction you are coming from). On the descent, I have already covered over 70km on my bike.
On the Kniepenberg there is also one of the largest observation towers in the Wendland (the largest observation tower, however, is on the Hohe Mechtien, which at 142 meters is the highest "mountain" in the Wendland). From the observation tower on the Kniepenberg you have a beautiful view over the Elbe.

There is a separate cycle path only in a few places on Elbuferstraße. However, this is not a problem on working days as there is very little traffic on the road.
