Gemünden am Main is, as the name implies, on the Main. But also at the Franconian Saale. This opens here in the Main. The place is a very nice stage stop, if one is on the main bike path on the way. The sunny marketplace offers several restaurants. From the bakery to the ice cream parlor to the restaurant, there is everything a cyclist's heart desires. Gemünden has a train station and is therefore easily accessible. The town in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart also offers some attractions. Above all, the ruin Scherenburg.
