The discovery tower can be used multifunctionally as a viewing tower and as a climbing wall. The two free-standing wall panels offer ideal opportunities for climbers and sports-loving visitors. Due to different radii of curvature in conjunction with different surface designs, the climbing difficulty levels in the mountains can be reproduced from 1 to 10. There are plastic climbing holds in the curved reinforced concrete walls, which enable eight different climbing routes with different levels of difficulty. To increase the attractiveness for professional climbers, a large balcony-like overhang was created on the viewing platform. Smaller overhangs and supporting components on the vertical reinforced concrete wall also pose increased challenges for the athletes.
