The Wenderner Stein used to be a popular vantage point to admire the Fichtelgebirge in all its glory. Today, the Wenderner Stein has grown noticeably, but has also gained quite a bit of charm. On the west side of the 60m long, 20m wide and 10m high rock is a small Mariengrotte.

In the summit area, the Wendener Stein bears an incomparable 36 meter long, 9 meter wide and 15 meter high natural phyllite slate rock, a protected natural monument and geotope. A bench has been cut into another rock for hikers. On the west side is the small Mariengrotte.

The sunny rock with stone bench is a natural monument. 20 m SW is the Madonna in a rock niche. Below the edge of the forest is a rest area with a beautiful view.
