    The 16 meter high obelisk was designed
    built by Prof. Meldahl from 25 Swedish granite blocks. In 1863 he was with the

The border with the kingdom passed the Kongeå, and Skamling was thus in North Schleswig / South Jutland.
        Holsten gradually became dominant and the Danish language was crowded. The administrative language was German in both duchies, but many Southern Jews remained in the Danish language.
