Is it dry with good foresight? Well, then up with you! :) The arduous climb is worthwhile, the view from the top is beautiful and if you have left the fence behind, a quiet little waiter waiting for the hard-working ones. Especially when it is quite cold, it runs better in the upper of the two ways, as in the valley.

In the past, the landscape here was used intensively. After the forest was cut down, sheep and goats were grazed here. The slope is too steep for other cattle. A dry grassland has formed over the years.
After all this was no longer worthwhile, the area was abandoned by agriculture. Trees grew again.
Today, attempts are being made to promote the original use and, for example, to let sheep graze again in order to protect the dry grassland from the naturally rampant nature. That too is nature conservation.

A trail leads down as well as above - the direct rise could thus be avoided;)
