The well-tended castle park always offers beautiful views of the castle.
The ice cellar in the northeast corner of the park was previously used to store perishable goods. For this purpose, ice was thrown in large quantities from nearby waters in winter and stacked in the ice cellar. In this way, the food stored on it stayed fresh longer. So it is a kind of historical refrigerator 🙂
On the roof there is a viewing platform with a nice view of Klütz and the castle park.
