              Very nice cafe near Fleckenstein Castle. Multilingual friendly staff. Delicious cake and cappuccino. Various hot dishes available. You can sit inside and outside. Limited selection of hot dishes due to public holidays

                  Nice café below Fleckenstein Castle with drinks and small snacks. There is a (partially) covered outdoor area with wooden tables. If you bring your own food, you can eat it 20 minutes away next to an orchard under a covered area. The service was very friendly, spoke German and French. Price-performance ratio is good.

                                    The castle blends in well with the surroundings. There are enough parking spaces nearby and it is not far to walk to the castle. The castle is also something for children.

                                              If you don't want to eat something in the café at the foot of the Fleckenstein ruins, you can consume the food you have brought with you at one of the large picnic areas. They are even covered and provide shade or protection from rain.
