The Tannaer Rundwanderweg (Tanna circular hiking trail) leads in a wide arc around Tanna on well-walked (mostly also well navigable by bike) field and forest paths. I recommend the marketplace as a starting point. The signage is a bit better anti-clockwise IMHO, so I would recommend going in the direction of Kirchgasse >> past the junction with Bachgasse >> turn left before you leave town onto the Seubtendorfer Steig towards B2 >> Hollywoodschaukel >> Leitenteiche. There are nice resting places (e.g. Hollywood swing, Leitenteiche, marble quarry, fishing pond) and beautiful views (e.g. from the sheep farm on Tanna). You can also break off the round at any time, since shorter paths always lead back to the starting point. I recommend good shoes and taking food with you, since apart from the restaurant in Frankendorf there are no places to stop for refreshments along the route.
