Attention: The way presented here is not an official hiking or mountain trail and is not regularly maintained, so follow-ups only at your own risk.

And of course only suitable for absolutely vertigo-free and sure-footed hikers!

Especially since the backups - if any - rather brand self-made and not really very confidence-inspiring.

Apart from that: Historic rock path high above the Dornbirner Ach up to the Spätbach-Alpe. Sensationally varied and adventurous, if quite short.

Is in principle actually an alpine trail - albeit a self-built ;-)

The entry to the path is not easy to find.
In addition one must not overlook the branch upwards direction Alpe from Dornbirn, since afterwards the ropes are not maintained any longer and one stands in front of a wire rope bridge.

Surefootedness and a head for heights are mandatory!

A beautiful path through wooded terrain along the rock. The safety ropes all looked intact and in good condition. The paths are narrow and are in exposed terrain, so surefootedness and a head for heights is required here!

The path is unfortunately relatively short, but it is a beautiful and very worthwhile section!
