Here the forest can still be forest. At least apparently. It is managed after all. Nevertheless, the attentive observer can discover many age groups on trees in the most varied of species. There is also standing dead wood here. In addition, the many small watercourses and pools offer additional living space.

A forest with mostly paved paths. Nature is left to its own devices. Undergrowth grows where there's enough light. Fallen trees are left to be decomposed over time by insects, beetles, etc. A forest just the way I like it.
