Hotel Babanovac is the first hospitality facility built on Vlašić and is located in the very center of this popular mountain. However, it has not been in operation for years.
On 12.12.2024, two hours after midnight, a fire broke out at the recognizable Babanovac hotel on Vlašić. The fire broke out on the roof of the building, after which a large number of fire departments arrived at the scene, but the fire spread too quickly and completely engulfed the roof structure of the building.
Firefighters successfully saved nearby buildings and prevented the fire from spreading.
