Just off Dark Tickle Road near the northern tip of Newfoundland’s Great Northern Peninsula, this 2.4 km out-and-back trail offers a moderately challenging climb and outstanding coastal views.
From the headland you’ll see wide ocean horizons, iceberg and whale spotting possibilities, and the rugged shoreline of the Atlantic. Many sections are exposed rock or moss-covered slopes, with short steep rises and a few benches/picnic rest spots along the way.
