The Château de la Napoule, just erected on the seafront, is a medieval fortification with a tumultuous history.

Made of destruction and reconstruction, the castle finds at the beginning of the 20th century an American couple who incur the necessary costs for its complete renovation.

The castle now houses art collections. Many here call it the Villa Medici of the French Riviera.

A very interesting building. The gardens and terraces are definitely worth a visit. We were also able to peek into the rooms from there. Unfortunately, the wait for the tour was too long for us.
