A place of faith with over four centuries of history
The veneration of the cross depicted between Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Catherine of Siena has its roots in the 16th century, when the image of the saint began to attract believers to prayer.
Over time, an elegant and intimate Baroque church was built around this ancient fresco, which still today invites silence and contemplation.
