This is a fantastic trail that climbs steadily through lush forest before breaking out onto open granite slopes. The trail’s namesake viewpoint offers beautiful, expansive views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, with rugged peaks rising beyond the treetops. Though it’s a relatively short route, the mix of shade from the trees and exposed rock makes for a lovely, scenic, and varied hike with an excellent reward at the end. It's a perfect way to spend a few hours exploring this beautiful area.
