The desert church of St. Nicholas under the Krudum (Czech: Kostel sv. Mikuláše pod Krudumem) is a legendary former religious building in the Imperial Forest, Czech Republic. The church, which probably disappeared in the 16th century, could not be located for 500 years; its remains were only rediscovered in 2002.
Nothing is known about the origins of the church. Since she is the saint. Nicholas as the patron saint of merchants and was located on an old trade route from Eger via Königsberg, Schlaggenwald, Petschau and Luditz to Prague, suggests that it was built as a wayside church. On the other hand, the Krudum was one of the centers of silver and tin mining in the Kaiserwald in the 13th century.

The first documented mention of the Church of St. Nicholas occurred in 1253, when King Wenceslas I left the St. Wenceslas Church in Elbogen with the branch churches of St. Wolfgang, St. Johannes and St. Nicholas to the Prague Cross Lords with the Red Star . However, further medieval mentions did not allow any precise conclusions to be drawn about the location of the church.
