The restaurant "Le Chameleux" is located very close to the French-Belgian border. It serves freshly caught trout from the restaurant's own ponds, as well as hearty regional dishes such as touffaxe – a specialty made with potatoes, pork ribs, bacon, and sausages.
Opening hours: The bistro is open from 10:30 a.m. Hot meals are available from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
From May 1 to September 15, the restaurant is closed on Tuesday evenings and Wednesdays. From September 15 to April 30, it is also closed on Monday and Thursday evenings.

Near the French border are the remains of an old Roman lodging house, built in the first century AD on the Roman Heirweg Reims-Trier. How many travelers and merchants have stopped here to rest and prepare the next step of their journey? The Gallo-Roman site of Chameleux (1st to 3rd century) is located 4 km south of Florenville. The Roman military road Reims-Trier once passed here and a shelter was built here for soldiers and travelers. Archaeological excavations have uncovered the remains of this relay. Information boards give visitors an idea of life here during the Roman period.
