Built by the Germans, the old pebble factory was intended for crushing in order to obtain the aggregate necessary for the manufacture of concrete. Located in the heart of Audierne Bay, the factory is located near pebbles, a resource present in abundance here due to the pebble barrier – the ero vili – which protects the bay.
This site, built during the Second World War, was part of the German defense strategy with the construction of the Atlantic Wall.
Today, paintings on concrete blocks bring a certain renewal.
