"The Jakobskirche is a listed [1] church in the southern Brandenburg town of Ortrand in the district of Oberspreewald-Lausitz. The church dedicated to the Apostle James the Elder is the oldest building in the city and is located in the cemetery. Today it is used by the Roman Catholic Congregation used and forms with Christ King in Lauchhammer, Painful Mother in Elsterwerda and St. Matthias in Hohenleipisch the parish of St. Hedwig in the Deanery of Torgau (Diocese of Magdeburg).
