The Hunting and Nature Museum in Los Yébenes is widely recognized for its impressive taxidermy collection, which forms the core of its exhibition.
The museum houses over 700 preserved specimens, including mammals from Eurasia, Africa, and the Americas, as well as one of the most comprehensive bird collections in Europe. The Taxidermy Room is dedicated to the art of preserving animals with a lifelike appearance, allowing for their study and display. All the specimens have been donated by hunters and treated with great care by the Garoz family, renowned for their expertise in taxidermy.
