The Hunting and Nature Museum in Los Yébenes is widely recognized for its impressive taxidermy collection, which forms the core of its exhibition.
The museum houses more than 700 stuffed species, including mammals from Eurasia, Africa, and the Americas, as well as one of the most comprehensive bird collections in Europe.
The Taxidermy Room is dedicated to the art of preserving animals in a lifelike state, allowing for their study and display.
All specimens have been donated by hunters and treated with great care by the Garoz family, renowned for their mastery in taxidermy.
The museum also has a taxidermy laboratory, where artisanal work is carried out following traditional techniques.
