Unfortunately the original route of the Via Mala is almost completely impractical and is in a state of neglect. Dense vegetation and landslides affect the distance. A small stretch has been recovered and is very suggestive to visit. If you travel on the state road by bicycle, equip yourself with lights because you will be obliged to travel at least a long tunnel.
