The Brandiswaal was built in 1835 by the Earl of Brandis to ensure the irrigation of its estates. The Waal itself is not visible because it runs in a tube below the path. The approximately 3.5 km long route is wide and can be handled with prams without any problems. A very nice walk for the whole family.
