Interesting observation tower right on the edge of the path, from which you can enjoy fantastic views of the beautiful nature of the nature reserve. Don't just drive past, stop and take the time to climb the little tower. It is worth it .. I can recommend it.

From this lookout tower you have a good view of the Schmoeler lake landscape.
There is also covered seating under the tower that invites you to take a break even in bad weather.

Nature reserve between Hohenfelde and Stakendorf. Here you will find shallow beach lakes, wet depressions, brackish water reeds and dry areas. There is a beach wall and a beach in the direction of the Baltic Sea. Numerous animal and plant species can be found in the NSG. From the vantage point you can watch waders and water birds very well, they find ideal habitats and nesting opportunities here. The area is also popular with migratory birds. A cycling / hiking trail runs along the edge of the area.

Pure nature, open your eyes and just be happy; the bike path around the NSG is partly a bit sandy and difficult to ride, so a good opportunity to get off the saddle for a few steps

The tower is great for observing wildlife.

The cycle path there is a disaster. At the moment it is very muddy and slippery due to rain, with lots of holes full of water.

It may be that it is a natural path and not suitable as an official cycle path.

If you come across cyclists or pedestrians, you must dismount.
