Since 1860 the family Heydt burns schnapps here. The private grain distillery is one of the most traditional distilleries of spirits in Germany and is now run by the fifth generation. If you want to know more about how high percentages are made here, you can take a two hour tour to look behind the scenes of the distillery.

If a tour through Haselünne is planned, a tour of one of the grain distilleries should definitely be included. A visit to the Rosche distillery is highly recommended. The owner will personally guide you through the tour and the subsequent tasting with humor and charm. Don't worry, nobody will be offered too much alcohol afterwards ;-)
