A nice place. In general, the area with the springs of Sieg, Lahn and Eder is a great hiking area overall. The Kyrillpfad also enhances the region.

A really nice tour.
Made exciting for children, every few meters there are signs, boards or hands-on activities.
E.g. forest telephone, forest glasses, bridges, the Walldschule, the jungle path, tonewoods, bark feel and climbing over trees ...

We ran in hazy weather, which made even more difference with the mist and fog. One should wear sturdy shoes.

It is more interesting for 10/12 years than for the other age groups.

The path is not suitable for pushchairs, but takes about 45 minutes of pure running time (and about 1.5 / 2 hours with research)
Good to master.

Right now a lot of different mushrooms in colors and shapes are growing very interesting.
Lots of beeches that drop exciting treasures ...

Really done nicely.
Few seating options until the end of the forest guitar.
Parking spaces are available only a few meters from the path, there is enough seating there.

From Netphen approx. 15/20 min driving time
From Hilchenbach too.
