The small, family-run Fishing Museum opened in 2024 from an old barn dating back to 1881. It contains a treasure trove of the history and culture of fishing in Lofoten. Several historic buildings display old production equipment from the late 19th century that was used in the Lofoten fishery. Rustic tools hang from the ceiling, and old fishing boats can be admired. The walls tell stories through photos, films, and other artifacts that have stood the test of time.
