The views alone are worth the trek up, especially those past the cave and up at the cloud. You'll need a buddy to help you scramble the last section into the cave entrance if you're attempting it on a rainy/snowy day - it gets very slippery.

A brilliant example of a small cave system, it can be very busy here during weekends and holidsys etc, but if you go early you should miss the crowds.

The Karst cave lies in the White Peak and, reached by an easy stepped path, is a popular tourist attraction, rewarding visitors with beautiful views over the Manifold Valley. It is adjacent to the Manifold Way, a footpath and cycle way in Staffordshire. It can be muddy and slippery in rainy weather, so sturdy footwear is required. Bring a torch, if possible even a headtorch.
