The Kurpromenade on the south side of the Stadttheater and the Kurhaus is the most traditional of Merano's promenades.

The spa promenade runs from the Post Bridge to the Theater Bridge along the Passer River, where it merges into the Passer Promenade. On the opposite side of the river is the Thermenplatz with the entrance to the Therme Meran. In the east, on the other hand, the spa promenade continues as a winter promenade and is therefore perfectly integrated into the Merano promenade system.

As a wide pedestrian zone, the promenade is ideal for strolling. The city garden center of Meran provides a magnificent flora with flowerbeds and trees, the wild river bed represents a real contrast to the intensively tended Art Nouveau course. As the most traditional promenade in the city of Merano, the spa promenade project was created around 1800.
