Lars Magnus Ericsson, the founder of the Swedish telephone industry, was born here on May 5, 1846, and spent his childhood here. Here you'll find an exhibition of telephones and other equipment from Ericsson's early production, as well as the history of the company and the life of Lars Magnus Ericsson. In addition, there's an adjacent mineral museum with minerals from the surrounding mines. The Vegerbol Silver Mine is about a 1.3 km walk from the memorial garden. Tours are possible by prior arrangement.
