The beginnings of Storkow Castle date back more than 800 years. Over the centuries, it has been rebuilt and expanded again and again. In 1998, extensive reconstruction and restoration work began, which was successfully completed in 2009. In addition to an interactive exhibition and the tourist information, there is also the information center of the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park.
